  Had a brilliant experience at the Eastbourne Amplifon store earlier this week. Had been advised by GP to get my ears checked out as she said they were inflamed. Turned out I had a “foreign body” in my right ear! Justin the audiologist was absolutely lovely, don’t write reviews all that often but he really was exceptionally lovely; friendly, funny and super helpful. Turns out (even with something stuck in my ear!) that my hearing was absolutely fine (impressed!) which meant that my entire 1 hour consultation was for free! Justin advised me to go to A&E to have the “foreign body” removed which I did the following day (turned out to be a remnant from a silicon wax earplug 🙈). But I shall be going back to see them to have some personalised ear moulds made up so that I don’t end up in A&E again and as a nod to the great service I received in Amplifon Eastbourne, cheers Justin! Also Jonathan on reception very friendly & thorough too!

  I had an appointment at the Eastbourne centre for 10h00 yesterday, which I arranged some while ago. I had a text reminder about the appointment from Amplifon on Monday so everything seemed fine. I live in St Leonards-on-sea so went by train as the centre is very close to the railway station. I got there at the right time only to find the centre was closed, with a notice on the door that it was closed on Tuesdays! What an incompetent business to arrange an appointment on a day that they must have known the centre would be closed. I phoned to try and find out more and left a message to complain about the situation. I have still not received a reply to this message so I guess the incompetence extends to customer relations. I had no other reason to go to Eastbourne that day so it was a waste of my time and the cost of the return train fare.

  I seriously recommend you get you hearing aids from somewhere else. The level of service provided by Amplifon Eastbourne is appalling!
